Dia de los Muertos Dinner October 30

Next Saturday, October 30 we will be hosting a Dia de los Muertos dinner with some favorite foods for the holiday. Mole, tamales, and champurrado are on the menu, and thanks to a delivery of sugar skull molds from California we'll be attempting some of those as well! As usual, there will be a five course tasting menu with wine pairings for each course, and we're happy to accommodate vegetarians or anyone else with dietary restrictions with advance notice.

There are still some seats available, if you'd like to participate send an email to

Face Your Food

Face Your Food is a new campaign by Fairfood International that is designed to make people think about where their food comes from. People are making videos of themselves eating, which are then automatically slowed down and reversed. The videos are funny, you can see them on youtube or on Facebook, where you can make your own video and post it on your own Facebook wall.

Anyone who is interested can participate in making a video at the October 30 dinner, though of course participation isn't required!

October Dinners

The next dinners will be October 16 and October 30. Recent visitors from California resupplied us with dried chiles, masa, and other staples right in time! We'll be preparing a fall menu with some Dia de los Muertos favorites like mole and champurrado, and are excited to experiment with making our own sugar skulls.

There are still some seats available, so drop us a line at if you'd like to join us. We're happy to accommodate vegetarians with advanced notice, and make sure to tell us about any other dietary restrictions or allergies. The suggested donation for the five course menu and wine pairings is 50 Euros.
